Covid-19 Information

Ensuring your Safety, Health and Well-being at all times

​I am a Full Member of The AOR (Association of Reflexologists) and Professional Reflexology.  I am fully committed to working within stringent processes and measures to ensure that the environment is safe for you, minimising the spread of infection at all times. My commitment to you as a client remains my priority, please see below my working practices and procedures: 

​

  • My practice is a purpose built treatment room with adjoining toilet and hand washing facilities, completed to a very high standard.  I have patio doors and windows which open into my private garden allowing for natural ventilation,the garden backs onto woodland.

  • Full Risk Management processes are in place which are available for you to see if required.  These are updated in line with my Professional Body and Government working specifications.

  • Scrupulous hygiene standards are in place.

  • New Couch covers and blankets are freshly laundered.

  • I will wear Full PPE at all times.

  • Appointments are allocated carefully allowing a minimum of 30 minutes in between clients, allowing for thorough sanitisation, cleaning and natural ventilation.

  • At the time of booking your appointment I will send you a Covid-19 specific questionnaire to complete, I really value your commitment in getting this back to me at least 2 days before your treatment.

  • I have completed specific Covid-19 training for Therapists.

  • Payments can be made using a card machine, or if your preference is to pay by cash I can provide an envelope for you to use.

Covid-19 Specific Questionnaire:​

​

  1. Have you or anyone in your household shown any symptoms in the last 14 days of Covid-19? (This is defined by a new continuous cough, a high temperature (feeling hot to touch on chest and back), new marks, rashes, spots, bumps or other lesions on skin or a loss or change in your normal sense of taste or smell)

  2. Is anyone in your household or bubble currently shielding? (also known as Clinically extremely vulnerable)

  3. Are you, or anyone you live with, defined as a 'high-risk' or 'moderate-risk' of getting Corona Virus?

  4. Have you been in contact, in the last 14 days, with someone who has been diagnosed with or suspected of having the Corona Virus, or been contacted by the NHS Track and Trace team and advised to self-isolate?

What I ask from you:

​

  • Please arrive on time. If you arrive early please remain in your car until your appointment time is due.  If you arrive later than your appointment time please understand that your treatment will still finish at the planned time.

  • Please give me 48 hours notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. 

  • If you feel unwell, or experience any symptoms related to Covid-19, or other symptoms please let me know as soon as possible.

  • On arrival I will ask you to place your belongings into a storage unit and to use the sanitizer provided

  • On arrival I will ask you to use the sanitizer gel provided. 

  • On arrival I will ask you to place your belongings into a storage unit as soon as you arrive.

  • Please bring a mask with you, if you forget one I can provide you with a disposable one which needs to be worn during your time at the practice.

  • At the end of the treatment I will provide you with water, or you may prefer to bring a water bottle with you.  When you leave the treatment room please use the sanitizer provided.

  • There is an expectation for you to contact me should you experience any Covid-19 related symptoms up to 14 days following your treatment.
